These terms apply to orders placed on folioireland.com, operated by 8Forty AE, trading as Folio Ireland, a company registered in the United Arab Emirates.
The service
We are an independent document service. We locate and obtain folio documents from the official Irish land register on your behalf and deliver them to you by email or post. We are not affiliated with Tailte Éireann or any Irish government body, and the same documents can be obtained directly from the official register at landdirect.ie.
Pricing and payment
Prices are shown in euro at the point of order and include our service fee. Payment is taken at the time of order through our payment provider.
Delivery
Orders are typically processed within a few working days. The Fast Track option delivers the folio PDF to your email within 1 hour. Certified copies are printed and sent by post once processed. Delivery times for postal items depend on the postal service.
Immediate supply of digital documents
By placing an order for digital documents you request that we begin work immediately. Once the documents have been supplied, the order has been performed and the statutory right to cancel a distance contract no longer applies to that order. This does not affect the refund position described in our refund policy or your other statutory rights.
If we cannot locate a folio
If we cannot locate a folio from the details provided, we will contact you by email before taking the order any further. If the folio cannot be located at all, we refund the order in full.
Liability
Documents are supplied for information purposes. We take care to obtain the correct documents for the property details you provide, but we are not responsible for decisions made in reliance on them. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing in them affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
